Truly sorry that I cannot be there with you physically because the answer is: no. Absolutely no, it was not worth it. For now I will use this to say this:

I am sorry that this ever happened. I remember around 6 years ago now and my heart dropping in my chest when I realized that Bush was going after Iraq no matter what. It really hurt then and frankly it is a bit sad, but my rage has lessened a bit now and perhaps changed into something else: hope. True hope that things can change and that a cleansing wave of renewal is coming.

Thank you, best wishes and you are in my thoughts: to all of you who have served in this American disaster. God bless to all of you Iraqis who have had to deal with our mistake directly.
