A slight change for this go-nowhere rambling blog, but I did wanted to write in about something I have been working with for some time now and that is the Salesforce.com product. Great stuff. Quite an amazing piece of technology and I really like the pace of innovation with the company in general - it is one of the maybe two large companies I know (including Google) that is not content to stand pat. Pretty exciting.

With that said I am not sure that even Salesforce.com fully appreciates the revolution they have begun. This sort of thing can't happen during this revolution. I guess to sum up, Salesforce.com, while they have established and spearheaded quite a charge around SAAS they need to figure out what this new world means for corporate communication. They are well on their way with the idea exchange and other novel approaches, but there is always room for improvement.
