Homeowner holdout in the Everglades - Environment - MSNBC.com: "A man who fought for years to keep his home and businesses in the swampy Everglades has accepted a $4.95 million buyout offer from the state, which plans to restore the wetlands ecosystem."

Good news today. Thank you Mr. Hardy- I know it must have been difficult to give up your land, but hopefully the millions will ease you.
