To update you on the work situation. We had a bed check this morning at 830am. I think these sorts of checks are somewhat juvenile. The comment made to one of my coworkers during this bed check was, 'Clean up your desk.' It was pitiful. Company is crumbling around us and the 'leadership' is concerned about bed checks and desks while at the same time giving no direction or reason for showing up early. I could go on forever...
Been reading a really interesting book. I am going to have to purchase it one of these days. You can find it here (thanks to blogspot for sharing this book with me in part of their literature about blogging at work). Damn insightful stuff and frankly the wave of the future.
Talking with one of my coworkers about it I was commenting how this book could have a variety of consequences, intended and otherwise. It could stand as truly revolutionary or, more likely, fade away in the days ahead... we will see. I think the truths they write of are undenyable and the outcome should be interesting. Great read.
