Slow Christmas here so I thought I might write in a bit about myself. I work at a software company in the bay area. Right now, I fear, it is a seriously struggling company. Things have changed at the company and they are having a serious mid life crisis.
To me it involves some very interesting things. It involves the clash between the idea that this wonderful network has changed the world and that people will never change. Mr. McNealy once commented on this.. it was very insightful. Shit I can't find it anywhere on the net, but his point was simply that you will never be able to take human and humanity out of the market place. It is something that cuts many ways and my company is stuggling to figure it out.
So when I look at it from an objective point of view it looks interesting. It is different looking at it from the cube.
When I am not in the cube I like to have a great time outdoors. Love basketball, soccer, mountain biking, almost anything. Just watched the King Tmac matchup and it was a good one. King J is gonna be something special. Tmac, much love though. You go over 40 with an attitude you doing something right. Nice to have competition though I am sure... nice to have.
