I got to see 300 last night which was a great movie however I was commenting to my wife the concerns that some people had about the possible propaganda nature of the film. Personally I found the whole use of the word 'freedom' and what not a little heavy handed in the film, but perhaps it was that way in history I thought to myself.
Given this I watched the feature-ette or whatever they call it after the film about how 300 tracked with history. And wouldn't you know it one of the first people interviewed is VDH, my uncle's very favorite. 'He's so smart like me' as he bats his eyelashes I assume. Seemed to pretty much seal the deal but I suppose I will actually read the shit I just linked to to verify my beliefs, but to keep up with the trend of the day I don't think I am going to let any 'facts' get in the way of my beliefs ala Colbert.
