Hello boss who won’t read this,
When you come to me to do something it often is nice to sometimes hear, if you feel so inclined, that I have done a good job with this or that. Not every time, but maybe once in a year+ ? Or, maybe twice. It would be nice.

When we sit there in one on ones and redundantly cover the same ground over and over and you talk of the same miniscule tactical things you make me want to choke you. Or as Chris Rock might say, shake the shit out of you. Choking would be wrong.

When you give me a cost of living raise and no promotion and no hope for a promotion you make me want to do no work and you make me wonder why I do any – since you don’t really follow up anyway. Well, actually, you do sometimes follow up about things we never talked about or things you thought you heard to assess blame on me. I kinda like that. It is like being wrapped in a nice warm blanky.

Thank you boss, you are often like a blanky. A blanky made of squirrels that is sometimes cold and wet, but a blanky nonetheless. Keep up the good work.
